Basketball Game Preview: Connersville Spartans vs. Muncie Central Bearcats

The Connersville Spartans just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Muncie Central Bearcats at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Connersville's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Muncie Central has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Friday, Connersville didn't have too much trouble with Franklin County as they won 60-46.

Meanwhile, Muncie Central played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 50-30 to Monroe Central.

Muncie Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Connersville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Connersville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Muncie Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, but they still walked away with a 46-40 victory.
