Volleyball Recap: San Juan Gets the Win

San Juan took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Union, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Broncos narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cougars 3-2. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

San Juan wouldn't go down easily and took Union into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 20-25, 16-25, 15-10.

San Juan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, San Juan will be taking part in a tournament against North Sanpete at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union, they will challenge Grantsville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
