Recap: Blessed Trinity Titans vs. Creekview Grizzlies
With a playoff game on the line, the Blessed Trinity Titans rose to the challenge on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-10 victory over Creekview. The victory was nothing new for Blessed Trinity as they're now sitting on five straight.
Blessed Trinity's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ahmontae Pitts, who rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Blessed Trinity also got help from Zyon Mckenzie who showed off his sure hands for 115 receiving yards.
Creekview's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Michael Roach, who picked up 208 receiving yards and a touchdown. Austin Guest was another key contributor, throwing for 259 yards on 19 of 49 attempts.
Blessed Trinity is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Creekview, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Blessed Trinity will take on Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gainesville will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Creekview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
