Baseball Recap: Lee Park Prep Comes Up Short

Lee Park Prep managed to slip by Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Patriots on Monday, falling 13-4. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Looking ahead, Lee Park Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against NorthPoint Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The NightHawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Sheets Memorial Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
