Volleyball Recap: Windermere Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Dr. Phillips on Monday, Windermere came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell just short of the Montverde Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Windermere took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 23-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Ella Boyd paced Windermere's offense, picking up 11 kills. Boyd got some help from Caitlin Coughlin and her 15 assists.

Windermere dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Windermere didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against The First Academy on the 21st. As for Montverde Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against George Jenkins on the 21st.
