Basketball Recap: Rock Springs Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Sam Lionberger and Boston James

After flying high against Green River last Friday, Rock Springs came back down to earth. The Rock Springs TIGERS took a hard 71-55 fall against the Star Valley Braves on Friday. The TIGERS haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team's come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Rock Springs had strong showings from Boston James, who went 6 for 15 to rack up 17 points and five boards, and Sam Lionberger, who posted 14 points. With that strong performance, James is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Syvon Thomas was another key player, putting up eight points.
