Recap: Naples Classical Academy vs. The Village School of Naples Knights
After flying high against the Mason Classical Academy Paladins last Monday, the Naples Classical Academy came back down to earth. Naples Classical fell 76-67 to the Knights on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (62), Naples Classical still had to take the loss.
Naples Classical's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shane Churchill, who scored 16 points. Layne Rachu was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Naples Classical's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-14. As for The Village School of Naples, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Naples Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. The Village School of Naples will head out on the road to square off against the Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
