Baseball Recap: Beekman Charter Takes a Loss

Beekman Charter came into this matchup off a tough 15-run defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the North Webster Knights by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since March 19, 2024.

Keylan Sandidge spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Beekman Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Diel, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Beekman Charter has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for North Webster, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
