Basketball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview lost against LaBrae back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crestview Rebels had to suffer through a 63-29 loss at the hands of the LaBrae Vikings. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crestview's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Neff, who posted five points and six boards. Neff has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Jonathan Best was another key player, putting up eight points.

Crestview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for LaBrae, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Crestview will take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for LaBrae, they will challenge Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. LaBrae has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three contests.
