Clovis North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Buchanan as Clovis North made off with a 5-1 win. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while the Bears are ranked 35th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clovis North's offense was hitting Buchanan from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Edison sidestepped Ridgeview for a 3-2 victory.

Clovis North is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those 13 contests. Edison's win bumped their record up to 21-2.
