Football Recap: Cooper Bulldogs vs. Collinsville Pirates
Cooper was the 42-35 winner over Collinsville when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cooper Bulldogs were beaten by the Collinsville Pirates 38-2 on Friday. Collinsville was led to victory by Garrett Trevino and Jaxon Jenkins. Trevino rushed for 91 yards on only eight carries, while Jenkins threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns. Trevino got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 55 yards.
Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Collinsville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
