Bowie scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Grand Prairie Gophers, falling 30-20. The Volunteers haven't had much luck with the Gophers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bowie now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Grand Prairie, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowie will host Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for Grand Prairie, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Martin at 6:00 p.m. Grand Prairie has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
