Volleyball Recap: Wellington Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Wellington waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Clearview Clippers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-20.

Sophia Beck paced Wellington's offense, picking up ten kills. Beck got some help from Courtney Krosse and her 22 assists. Beck was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Wellington's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Clearview, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wellington is set to challenge their familiar foe Keystone at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clearview will square off against rival Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
