Volleyball Recap: James Island Takes a Loss

James Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Dorchester Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14.

Fort Dorchester's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cade Ridgway, who had 12 digs and two assists.

James Island's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Fort Dorchester, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-14.

James Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Dorchester, they will take on St. James in a tournament on the 18th.
