There's no place like home for Clayton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Pecos Panthers 3-2 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellowjackets have posted since September 9th.

Clayton was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 14-25, 20-25, 25-12, 15-11.

Clayton's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Pecos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clayton is set to face off against their familiar foe Tucumcari at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pecos will take on rival Santa Rosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
