Volleyball Recap: Cabrini Comes Up Short

After flying high against Frederick A. Douglass on Tuesday, Cabrini came back down to earth. The Crescents fell just short of the University Lab Cubs by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Crescents were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cubs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2015.

Cabrini has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for University Lab, their win bumped their record up to 20-2.

Cabrini has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against John Curtis Christian on the 17th. As for University Lab, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against E.D. White on the 18th.
