Fike won the last time they faced Southern Wayne and things went their way on Thursday too. The Demons blew past the Saints 15-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Demons.

The team relied heavily on Katie Sharp, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cailin Powers, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs.

Fike's record is now 6-14. As for Southern Wayne, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Fike and Southern Wayne will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Demons see the field they'll take on Ayden - Grifton at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Southern Wayne, their break will end when they face Goldsboro at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th.
