Caney Valley entered their tilt with Sedan on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

In the two sets Caney Valley was on fire: they won each by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 23-25, 25-10.

Grace Prince paced Caney Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Prince got some help from Emma Marshall and her 23 assists. Elyn Washburn controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Caney Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Sedan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-1 record this season.

Caney Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cunningham on the 27th. As for Sedan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against West Elk on the 30th.
