Volleyball Recap: Northland Prep Academy Beats Camp Verde for Their Third Straight Victory

Northland Prep Academy entered their tilt with Camp Verde on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cowboys. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

Zillah Wildblood-Crawford paced Northland Prep Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wildblood-Crawford got some help from Makenna Murphy and her 14 assists. Piper McGourin and Malia Turner kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Northland Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Camp Verde, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Northland Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Florence on the 29th. Hopefully Camp Verde paid attention to the Spartans' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Spartans at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
