Ridgefield is a perfect 4-0 against McMahon since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Senators at 7:00 p.m. Ridgefield will be strutting in after a win while McMahon will be coming in after a defeat.
Ridgefield is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-0 victory over Bridgeport Central. The Tigers have beaten the Hilltoppers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hilltoppers has come to flipping the script.

Ridgefield's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Connor Chojnacki, who threw for 49 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Leo Moore, who rushed for 30 yards and two scores. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Moore a new career-high.
Ridgefield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jackie Bucci and Nolan Queenan.
Meanwhile, McMahon and Danbury were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but McMahon suffered a 29-28 loss. The Senators have struggled against the Hatters recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Ridgefield will have to contain Justin Daniel as he made an impact in McMahon's last game. He rushed for 19 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Jacob Lederman got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Even if they lost, McMahon's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Gavin Peterson, Lederman, and Farrell Lee, who each picked up one sack apiece. Peterson was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 12 total tackles.
McMahon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ridgefield, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Thursday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant wideouts against one another: Christopher Colsey and Daniel. Colsey just won't slow down this season and has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 75.7 receiving yards per game. Daniel has been a dominant force too and has averaged 40.7 receiving yards per game.
Everything came up roses for Ridgefield against McMahon in their previous matchup back in October of 2020, as the team secured a 41-8 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Senators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
