Shoreland Lutheran was the 3-1 winner over Living Word Lutheran when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Pacers fell 2-0 to the Timberwolves on Saturday. The Pacers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Morgan Curcio paced Shoreland Lutheran's offense, picking up ten kills. Curcio got some help from Hailey Grove and her 13 assists. Grove was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Shoreland Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Living Word Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 24-6 record this season.
