Volleyball Recap: Ruby Fabish Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Brimfield

The Dunlap Eagles were able to grind out a solid win over the Brimfield Indians on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The victory didn't come easy: Brimfield scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Dunlap's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ruby Fabish, who had ten digs and one assist.

When it comes to explaining why Brimfield lost, don't look at Anja Nelson. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and three aces.

Dunlap's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Brimfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dunlap will host Bloomington Central Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Brimfield has already played their next match (against Peoria Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
