Soccer Game Preview: Upperman vs. Bledsoe County

The Upperman Bees will square off against the Bledsoe County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upperman will be strutting in after a victory while Bledsoe County will be coming in after a loss.

Upperman took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Stone Memorial with a sharp 9-1 win. Considering Upperman have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bledsoe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Sequatchie County, falling 3-0. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Bledsoe County it sure didn't stay that way.

Upperman's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Bledsoe County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Upperman's way against Bledsoe County in their previous matchup back in March, as Upperman made off with a 5-2 win. In that matchup, the Bees amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
