Elgin had won ten straight home games dating back to last season and Jocelyn Wall did her part to make it 11 on Thursday. The Comets put the hurt on the Upper Scioto Valley Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Wall, who had 13 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-8, 25-10.

Elgin's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Elgin will head out to square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will host Lima Central Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
