Softball Recap: West Wolfpack vs. Kimball Jaguars
West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Kimball Jaguars, falling 16-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in March.
West saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Dunn, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kimball, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will square off against Tracy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Wolfpack surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kimball, they will take on Lodi at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Flames' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
