Cedar Bluffs lost to Winnebago back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Cedar Bluffs got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Jakiah McCoy and Kaylee Adams, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Taylor Hansen and her 22 assists. Kaelyn Wolfe controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cedar Bluffs' win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Winnebago, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

Cedar Bluffs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Madison on the 14th. As for Winnebago, after both having extra time off, they and Homer will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
