Basketball Recap: Irvin Comes Up Short

Irvin lost against Harmony Science Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Irvin Rockets took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harmony Science Academy. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harmony Science Academy was led to victory by Aaron Caballero and Carlos Ceballos. Caballero posted 28 points and six rebounds, while Ceballos dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Aiden Ochoa, who put up six points.

Irvin's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Harmony Science Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

Irvin will be playing at home against Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bowie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season. As for Harmony Science Academy, they will head out to square off against Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
