Volleyball Recap: Nuview Bridge Triumphs

On Thursday, the Nuview Bridge Knights earned a 3-1 win over the Hemet Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Nuview Bridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.

Konner C was a one-man wrecking crew for Nuview Bridge as he had 17 digs and two aces.

C wasn't the only good server: Nuview Bridge was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in April of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Hemet lost, don't look at Kellen Arnold. Despite the final result, he had 22 digs and two assists. The dominant performance gave Arnold a new career-high in digs.

Nuview Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hemet, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Nuview Bridge will be taking part in a tournament against Xavier Prep at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hemet, they will take on Cajon at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
