After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Assumption, Bourgeois was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the A.J. Ellender Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since October 29, 2024.

Bourgeois has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-13 record this season. As for A.J. Ellender, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.

A.J. Ellender has already played their next contest (against Thibodaux), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bourgeois will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' matchup: after the Patriots face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Bourgeois again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
