Volleyball Recap: William Allen Comes Up Short

William Allen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Canaries of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12, 25-12.

Allentown Central Catholic found their leader in freshman Maci Flynn, who had seven aces and six digs. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Flynn.

William Allen's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Allentown Central Catholic, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. William Allen will welcome East Stroudsburg North at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Allentown Central Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stroudsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
