AAAA Region IV recap Nov. 7, 2012

Spring Valley took down Richland Northeast 57-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Vikings made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,071 from 2,534. The improvement was the result of 57-14 victory over the Cavaliers last week.

Richland Northeast's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cavaliers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. A. C. Whaley has thrown for 2213 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Craishaud Foulks has 61 catches for 969 yards. Whaley also leads the league in rushing with 285 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Irmo takes on Ridge View. The Yellowjackets are currently in fourth, while the Blazers are in third.

Spring Valley led the league in scoring this week after putting up 57 points on Richland Northeast.
