Archbishop Murphy faced Shorewood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Stormrays. That's two games straight that Archbishop Murphy have won by just one goal.

The victory made it two in a row for Archbishop Murphy and bumps their season record up to 6-0-1. As for Shorewood, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.
