While Episcopal put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Cecilia. The Episcopal Knights came out on top against the Cecilia Bulldogs by a score of 5-0. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Episcopal is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs over those games. Cecilia's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1.

Looking ahead, Episcopal will venture away from home to take on Doyle at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Doyle has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cecilia, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Parkview Baptist on the 22nd.
