Volleyball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Needham

St. John faced Needham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Pioneers lost 3-0 to the Rockets. The Pioneers have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Needham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, St. John's will challenge Greater New Bedford RVT at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Needham, they will host Walpole at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
