Tomball Memorial posted their closest victory since August 14th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hendrickson Hawks 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Sarah Odell paced Tomball Memorial's offense, picking up 11 kills. Odell got some help from Keira Pierce and her 18 assists. Lauren Helmer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Tomball Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Hendrickson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
