Volleyball Recap: Osborne's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Osborne had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Thunder Ridge Longhorns by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Osborne not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Thunder Ridge between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18.

Ashlyn Schultze paced Osborne's offense, picking up six kills. Schultze got some help from Camrun Taylor and her 20 assists. Finally, Peyton Clark kept Osborne's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Osborne's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Thunder Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15-1 record this season.

Osborne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Hill City on the 7th. As for Thunder Ridge, they will take on Tescott on Tuesday.
