Basketball Recap: Tioga Takes a Loss

Tioga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 81-34 loss at the hands of the Stockton Christian Eagles. The Timberwolves lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 95-25 score last time.

It was another big night for Jayden Chamblee, who posted 34 points for Stockton Christian. The contest was Chamblee's 17th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenzy Escalante, who scored 14 points.

Tioga's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Stockton Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Tioga has already played their next game (against Elliot Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stockton Christian has already played their next match, a 63-23 win against Delta Charter on the 24th.
