Washington is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since April 10, 2024 on Friday. They lost 18-4 to J.H. Rose. The Pam Pack haven't had much luck with the Rampants recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pamlico County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Martin County, falling 11-1.

Pamlico County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Broughton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Pamlico County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
