Volleyball Recap: Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's Winning Streak Snapped at Eight Games

After a string of eight wins, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Union Grove Wolverines. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Union Grove was led to victory by Isabella Massey and Kylee Evans. Massey had nine digs and three assists, while Evans hit 92.9% for 13 kills and six digs and one assist. Evans is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 28-11-1. As for Union Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 32-7-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy will face off against Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Grove, they will square off against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
