East piles up the points against Ohio Valley Christian

Recap: East Tartans vs. Ohio Valley Christian
The East Tartans gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past Ohio Valley Christian 65-28 at home. With East ahead 46-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Despite the defeat, Ohio Valley Christian saw an underclassman step up: Bo Danner scored 11 points. Danner scored a full 39.3% of Ohio Valley Christian's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Nate Burgess, who scored 6 points.
East's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Ohio Valley Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will challenge Oak Hill at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ohio Valley Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Covenant at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
