Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonogh). They walked away with a 66-57 win over the St. Mary's Saints on Monday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 57-33 victory the Saints walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

The win got McDonogh back to even at 2-2. As for St. Mary's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coming up, McDonogh will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Glenelg Country at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Mary's, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mount St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Saints will be up against the Gaels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.63 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
