Softball Recap: Nebraska City Pioneers vs. Plattsmouth Blue Devils        
        
		
             Nebraska City entered their tilt with Plattsmouth on Thursday with six consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victor by  a  10-2 margin over the Plattsmouth Blue Devils. Considering the Pioneers have won 15 games by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Rylie Beethe was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, three  RBI,  and three  RBI while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  home runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hanna Marth, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 She wasn't the only one working in the  home runs department: Nebraska City  lost a few balls and  finished the game with three  home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  launched at least two  home runs in five consecutive  matchups.
 Nebraska City's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 20-3. As for Plattsmouth,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-12.
 Nebraska City will challenge Ashland-Greenwood at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Plattsmouth, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Malcolm. Plattsmouth is facing Malcolm at the right time seeing as Malcolm is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
