Football Recap: Mount De Sales Academy Falls to Loganville Christian Academy in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Mount de Sales Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Loganville Christian Academy Lions by a score of 28-26 on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Loganville Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylan Fryar led the charge by rushing for 82 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 94 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Fryar has posted since back in August of 2024. Another back making a difference was Drey Thomas, who rushed for 142 yards and one score while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.

Looking ahead, Mount de Sales Academy will challenge Deerfield-Windsor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they will face off against Strong Rock Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
