Volleyball Recap: Hokes Bluff Takes a Loss

Hokes Bluff extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-9. They came up short against the Glencoe Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

As for Glencoe, their win bumped their record up to 15-4. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glencoe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracyn Bunt, who had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Bunt has posted over her last ten matchups.

When Hokes Bluff and Glencoe next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Eagles will face off against Cherokee County and their four-game winning streak at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Glencoe will try to stop Holly Pond's six-game winning streak when they meet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
