Baseball Game Preview: North Kingstown Skippers vs. Cranston West Falcons

For the second straight game, North Kingstown will face off against Cranston West. The Skippers will be playing at home against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. North Kingstown will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

North Kingstown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Cranston West, who was ranked 15th at the time (North Kingstown was ranked fifth). The Skippers skirted past the Falcons 3-2.

For Cranston West's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Barboza, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

North Kingstown's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Cranston West, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
