Volleyball Recap: Corinth Comes Up Short

Corinth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hoosic Valley Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Hannah Reidy was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Corinth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Hoosic Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7-2.

Coincidentally, Corinth and Hoosic Valley will both be playing Fort Edward the next time they take the court. The Riverhawks will head out to face the Flying Forts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
