Basketball Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Victorious

Dayspring Christian Academy won the last time they faced Union Colony Prep, and Owen Mcclanahan did his part to make sure it happened again. The Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles had just enough and edged the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves out 60-58 thanks in part to Mcclanahan, who went 11 of 18 on his way to 27 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Union Colony Prep still got an impressive performance from Josiah Rodriguez, who went 11 for 19 en route to 29 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Tanner Sarchet, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Dayspring Christian Academy's record is now 3-7. As for Union Colony Prep, their record is now 7-4.

Dayspring Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-41 win against Denver Academy on the 23rd. As for Union Colony Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-51 loss against SkyView Academy on the 23rd.
