Centennial had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cheyenne Desert Shields. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Desert Shields, too.

Centennial was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-11, 25-18.

Lincoln Larson paced Centennial's offense, picking up ten kills. Larson got some help from Cole Crapo and his 17 assists. Larson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Centennial's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Cheyenne, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Shadow Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on March 26th.
