Preview: Industrial Cobras vs. Palacios Sharks
The Industrial Cobras will head out on the road to face off against the Palacios Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Industrial is hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
After soaring to a 22-point victory in their last game, Industrial came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of Yoakum by a score of 53-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Industrial has suffered yet this season.
Meanwhile, Palacios' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 49-38 to Tidehaven. Palacios has struggled against Tidehaven recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Industrial has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Palacios, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11.
Industrial was able to grind out a solid victory over Palacios in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 41-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Industrial since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
