Football Recap: Sequoia Ravens vs. Carlmont Scots
It was a good run, but Sequoia unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 27-17 to the Carlmont Scots. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carlmont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Johnny Dunne, who threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt. Sean Chopoff also helped out as he racked up 100 receiving yards.
Sequoia's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Carlmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Sequoia will square off against Gunn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gunn is coming into the contest with five straight wins on the road, so Sequoia will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Carlmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
